Take an overnight flight to southern Africa.

 

Day 2

Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

Day 3

Enjoy some free time in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

Day 4

Visit Victoria Falls, a stunning Natural Wonder of the World, and stay overnight in an authentic African tent camp with all the amenities of a luxury resort.

 

Day 5

Get up close and personal with African elephants before learning about the programs of the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust. Join a local family for lunch, and have dinner on the shores of the Zambezi river overlooking the Falls.

 

Day 6

Visit a traditional village and meet the village chief in a remarkable opportunity to learn about traditional life in southern Africa. Visit Chobe National Park in Botswana for a chance to spot elephants, hippos, and crocodiles on a fascinating safari cruise.

 

Day 7

After a game drive through Chobe National Park, choose between continuing the wildlife search on land or getting an alternative look at river life on another safari cruise. Gather by the river for a dinner of local delicacies.

 

Day 8

Visit Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa to see lions, wildebeest, and African buffalo, among many other species.

 

Day 9

Enjoy game drives in Pilanesberg National Park before returning to your hotel for a traditional Boma dinner.

 

Day 10

Enjoy another full day in Pilanesberg National Park, perhaps spotting lions, cheetahs, and giraffes.

 

Day 11

Visit the winelands of the Western Cape, beginning in Somerset West, nestled in South Africa’s most famous wine region.
