Day 1 Monday, July 28

Prenight in St. Louis before beginning our trip to California!

 

Day 2 Tuesday, July 29

Arriving at the San Francisco, CA airport, a motorcoach will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Then check into your San Francisco hotel for a four night stay.

Tonight, dinner is included a one of the restaurants at Fisherman's Wharf. (D)

 

 

Day 3 Wednesday, July 30

After breakfast, meet your local guide at the hotel for a San Francisco City Tour. View and learn about the sights and neighborhoods in this

beautiful city. You’ll see the Golden Gate Bridge, see the Twin Peaks and The Presidio, the Transamerica Pyramid in the Financial District

(the City’s most distinctive skyscraper) and you will be given a ticket to ride the cable car during your free time.

 

Next, visit the Golden Gate Bridge's Welcome Center. The Golden Gate Bridge attracts more than 10 million visitors to take in its

tremendous 746-foot tall towers, sweeping main cables, signature International Orange color and Art Deco styling. Make a stop at The

Bridge's Welcome Center that offers merchandise and historical information.

 

This afternoon, take a cruise to Alcatraz where you will enjoy a self guided tour. The cruise takes you along the San Francisco waterfront,

 under the Golden Gate Bridge, along the Marin Headlands, around Alcatraz and back to Fisherman's Wharf.

 

Dinner tonight on Pier 39 at Fisherman’s Wharf. Following dinner, you will have time to explore the Wharf. (B,D)

 

 

Day 4 Thursday, July 31

This morning we meet our step on guide once again where we visit the Giant Coastal Redwoods at Muir Woods.

Next, arrive in Napa Valley, CA where you enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Napa Valley is known for hundreds of Hillside Vineyards in the Napa Valley wine region.

 

Your afternoon will include tastings at one of the area's wineries.

Included dinner will be provided this evening. (B,L)

 

 

Day 5 Friday, August 1

This morning, travel south to the town of Felton, nestled amongst the Coastal Redwoods of California’s North Central Coast. Here you board

the Santa Cruz & Big Trees Railroad for a short ride through these big trees and enjoy a barbeque lunch in historic Roaring Camp, a

recreation of a logging community of the late 1800’s.

 

Returning to San Francisco, CA, dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (B,L,D)

 

 

Day 6 Saturday, August 2

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the San Francisco airport for your return flight to St. Louis.

 

Tour includes airfare, accommodations and all activities listed here including a ticket to ride a world famous cable car. (luggage fees, if any, are not included)
