You'll spend 3 nights at the Bavarian Inn while experiencing glorious sights.

 

Enjoy the Balloons Over Bavarian Inn this May 22-25! Witness beautiful morning and evening flights by more than 20 hot air balloons over Frankenmuth! Nightly balloon glows take place in the grassy field near River Place Shops. We're excited to share that this event will coincide with the Dog Bowl, the world's largest Olympic-style festival for dogs! While we won't be able to bring our own furry friends, it will be fun to experience the festivities.

 

The festival is part of Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, Inc. – a nonprofit organization that advocates for responsible pet ownership through educational programs and world-class events like the annual Dog Bowl! The nonprofit supports charitable endeavors such as police canine training programs to promote safer communities, defraying medical and adoption costs for families in need, and funding pet-related military and service organizations.

Friday, May 22

 

Evening Balloon Flight: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

 

Nightly Balloon Glow: 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM at River Place Shops Field | Experience the magic of 12+ tethered hot air balloons inflating and glowing - includes opportunities to interact with the pilots and crew during each Nightly Balloon Glow at Dog Bowl.

 

Saturday, May 23

 

Morning Balloon Flight: 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM

 

Evening Balloon Flight: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

 

Nightly Balloon Glow: 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM at River Place Shops Field

All events and times are subject to change.

 

 

 

All activities take place at River Place Shops, 925 S. Main St. With the events spread out on over 25-acres of Bavarian Inn property, there will be plenty of space for guests and canines to enjoy themselves safely.

 

 

Balloon rides are not free. The fee is undetermined on a first-come, first-served basis. Balloon rides cannot be booked in advance.

 

Your trip includes 3 breakfasts, luxury motorcoach transportation, and accommodations at the Bavarian Inn!

 

While in Frankenmuth, we will also make a stop at the famous Bronner's Christmas Store. "The World's Largest Christmas Store" is 7.35 acres in size, with landscaped grounds covering 27 acres!
