Don't Mess With Texas!

We'll journey south to the land where everything is bigger: Texas! 

Trust us when we say that this trip will definitely be BIG fun!

 

Day 1 We rest in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the Hilton Garden Inn

 

Day 2 We're off this morning to visit The Mercantile from " The Pioneer Woman" in Pawhuska, Oklahoma for three hours. We're sure you'll want to take lots of photos and shop for a special memento. Tonight, we rest in at The Drury Inn in Dallas/Frisco, Texas.

 

 

Day 3 We will travel to Waco, Texas and spend three hours shopping and exploring the Magnolia Market at the Silos created by Chip & Joanna.

We arrive in San Antonio for a four night stay at the Hilton Palacio del Rio, located right on the Riverwalk! (baggage handling included)

 

Days 4,5, & 6 Your stay on the idyllic San Antonio Riverwalk will make for a vacation you won't soon forget! In San Antonio you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast we purchased each morning before we begin touring. Your trip includes a guided tour of the YO Ranch in Mountain Home, Texas where we enjoy included lunch. While at the Ranch you'll learn about the history of the Ranch, conservation efforts, and of course, get up close to an array of animals.

 

You'll immerse yourself in remarkable history when we visit both The Alamo and Mission San Juan Capistrano.

 

 

We'll also have time for shopping at SAS Shoe as well as time to explore both The Mercado and The Historic Market Square for amazing dining and shopping delights. Your reservation with Timi's Tours also includes a ticket for the GO RIO narrated river cruise!

 

 

We'll venture out to Texas Hill Country to visit the LBJ Ranch, the home of President Lyndon B. Johnson. At the LBJ Ranch you'll explore his birthplace, see the Ranch house and final resting place; the Texas Whitehouse.  We'll visit Fredericksburg, a German community with delectable dining options and unique shopping.  We will also stop in Luckenbach, Texas made famous by Willie Nelson's song.

 

 

Days 7 & 8  We'll depart San Antonio and journey to the Fairfield Inn in Texarkana, Texas. The following day we'll arrive in Memphis, Tennessee for an exciting evening on Beale Street! Your accommodations are at The Hampton Inn, close to a variety of dinner options and endless choices of entertainment!

 

Day 9 We arrive home full of memories of colorful and historic sites of Texas, Oklahoma and beyond.
