We will begin our journey with an overnight stay in Chicago, IL, before we board our flight to Vancouver, British Columbia! Once we arrive in Vancouver, we will stay overnight before boarding our ship, the Norwegian Jade.

 

After boarding the ship, we will start by exploring the calm waters of Alaska’s Inside Passage, which weaves through the islands of the North American Pacific Fjordland.

 

 

Then it’s on to Ketchikan, known for its many totem poles and the surrounding lush wilderness. In Juneau, nearby glaciers are in full view. Perhaps you’ll kayak, go flightseeing, or take a walking tour of the city’s historic downtown!

 

 

Next, we visit Skagway, a remote town that grew from a few tents to a city of 20,000 with the advent of the Gold Rush. Maybe you’ll take a stroll on the city’s charming boardwalk, or even see one of the vintage locomotives passing by on its way to Canada!

 

 

We’ll venture to Icy Strait Point, known as the place “where the north wind doesn’t blow.” This community-owned port, one of the few places where wildlife outnumbers the human population, will certainly satisfy your taste for adventure.

 

 

We’ll cruise by Hubbard Glacier, taking in magnificent views of its turquoise-colored face. At nearly six miles wide and 400 feet tall, this massive glacier is a sight to behold.
