View DatesJoin us on another great trip to Lake Geneva!
June 24-27, 2025
We will spend 3 nights at the Harbor Shores Hotel in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva! You can expect fantastic rooms with a balcony overlooking the beautiful lake.
While here, we will enjoy a lunch show called American Bandstand at the Rosewood Dinner Theatre.
Nothing sets the stage for popular culture of a generation more than the music of the 1950's. America's Bandstand takes you back to the sock hop, spotlighting Roackability, Doo-Wop and Motown Artists, Songs, and the history of early rock and roll.
You can expect to hear songs by Chuck Berry, The Marcels, Bill Haley and The Comets, Etta James, Elvis Presley, Chubby Checker, The Platters, Roy Orbison, The Five Satins, Buddy Holly and The Crickets, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Shelley Fabares, Neil Sedaka, The Ronettes, The Temptations, The Shirelles, The Everly Brothers, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and many more!
Next we will do the well known Lake Geneva Mail Boat tour!
There are only a handful of places left in the country where mail is still delivered by boat, and none with a more exciting tour than this! With over 100 years of mail service, they still deliver mail to about 75 homes around the lake on a daily basis. The Walworth departs promptly at 10:00A.M. every day with a load of passengers, mail, newspapers and a very unique mail person who jumps on and off a moving boat that never stops to deliver the mail.
We will then have a step-on guide join us to tour Black Point Estate!
Black Point Estate was built for Chicago Beer Baron Conrad Seipp in 1888 as a retreat, and in that spirit the home remains a place to relax, refresh, and explore. This home is considered one of the finest examples of period architecture and furniture in the Midwest, and one of the oldest homes in Lake Geneva.
Continuing with our fun filled tour, we will visit the East Troy Railroad Museum and enjoy a train ride with an included lunch.
The East Troy Railroad Museum operates on the last remaining piece of the original interurban network which operated in Wisconsin. In 1939 the Milwaukee Electric Railway & Transit Company petitioned to abandon this segment of railroad due to lack of ridership. Since everything from gas to groceries came in to East Troy by our line, the Village passed a referendum to purchase this 7.5 mile stretch of track and overhead for freight purposes.
The Village of East Troy operated the railroad until the year 1985, when it was leased to the Wisconsin Trolley Museum, which took over operation of the freight railroad. In 1995 the railroad was purchased by the Friends of East Troy Railroad, which became the East Troy Railroad Museum. Today, the East Troy Electric Railroad has 32 pieces of equipment with over 500 members worldwide, 110 active volunteers and almost 25,000 visitors each year! With your support, we can fulfill our mission to keep the interurban railroad history alive for generations to come!
There will be plenty of time for shopping and walking around Lake Geneva throughout the trip.
We will make a stop at Lake Geneva Country Meats before departing so you can bring meats and cheeses home along with the fantastic memories of this trip!
This trip includes luxury motorcoach transportation, hotel accommodations, various included activities, and 6 Meals (3 Breakfasts, 3 Lunches).
